KaarTech Raises $11 Million Led by Playbook Partners to Accelerate Global Expansion

KaarTech funding news

India’s enterprise technology and digital transformation sector continues to attract strong investor confidence. Chennai-based consulting and technology firm KaarTech has raised $11 million (around ₹100 crore) in a fresh funding round led by Playbook Partners, with participation from existing investor A91 Partners.

The investment marks another milestone for the Chennai-headquartered enterprise consulting firm, which has been steadily growing its presence in global digital transformation projects.

Strengthening Global Technology Services

Founded in 2006 by Maran Nagarajan, Ratnakumar N, Selvakumaran M, and Guardian George, KaarTech focuses on helping enterprises modernize legacy systems and move toward cloud-based, AI-ready technology infrastructure.

The company provides SAP-led digital transformation services, including cloud migration, enterprise data platforms, AI and automation integration, analytics, and managed services. Its clients include large global organizations across sectors such as aviation, energy, and government.

With this new capital infusion, KaarTech plans to expand its footprint in North America and Europe, hire more talent in international markets, and explore potential acquisitions that could strengthen its technology capabilities.

Strong Financial Growth

The funding round comes on the back of strong financial performance.

KaarTech’s operating revenue rose 56.8% to ₹718 crore in FY25, compared to ₹458 crore in the previous financial year. The company also turned profitable, posting a net profit of ₹7.74 crore after reporting a loss in FY24.

According to estimates, the latest round values the company at around ₹2,100 crore (approximately $231 million) post-money.

The company had earlier raised $30 million from A91 Partners in 2023, which helped scale its global operations and delivery capabilities.

Tapping the Digital Transformation Wave

Enterprises worldwide are investing heavily in upgrading legacy IT systems, adopting cloud infrastructure, and integrating AI-driven solutions into business operations.

Companies like KaarTech, which specialize in enterprise transformation and SAP ecosystems, are benefiting from this global shift toward data-driven and cloud-first business models.

With fresh funding and expanding international demand, KaarTech aims to cross ₹1,000 crore in revenue in FY26, signaling its ambition to become a stronger global player in enterprise digital transformation services.
