Bluecopa, an AI-driven finance operations (FinOps) automation platform, has successfully raised $1.8 million in a pre-Series A funding round. This latest round was co-led by Blume Ventures, Dallas Venture Capital (DVC), and Venture Catalysts, with the funds earmarked for expanding market reach, enhancing AI capabilities, and advancing product development.

Founded in 2021, Bluecopa is transforming the financial operations landscape with its cutting-edge solutions. The company provides AI-powered automation and data intelligence tools to finance teams, streamlining processes and increasing efficiency. Bluecopa serves a range of industries, including eCommerce, financial services, travel, logistics, and gaming, offering solutions that drive long-term value for enterprises.

Speaking about the funding, Satya Prakash Buddhavarapu, co-founder and CEO of Bluecopa, said, “FinOps automation is a massive opportunity globally. We are excited to partner with leading VCs to fuel our mission of delivering exceptional value to customers.”

A Strong Foundation of Innovation

Bluecopa was founded by Satya Prakash Buddhavarapu, Nilotpal Chanda, and Raghavendra Reddy. The trio previously founded the tax management platform Optotax, which was later acquired by the neobanking platform Open. Satya Prakash also co-founded Tuplejump, a machine-learning firm acquired by Apple in 2016.

Blume Ventures’ co-founder Sanjay Nath expressed confidence in Bluecopa’s potential, stating, “The team’s deep industry expertise combined with their best-in-class product is already delivering measurable outcomes for their customers.”
